Change is the only constant thing in life
A friend of mine had this caption as his signature and that gave birth to a lot of thoughts in my mind. Well it is so true. Change in life means so many things. Just the word change can apply to a variety of mundane routine things we do. Change in clothes, change in dressing style, change in appearances, change in routines, change in work, change in mood, change in hair style, change in occupation, change in emotions. All of these are so common. The most difficult I think would be change in one's nature. In Marathi we have a idiom which says- "Swabhavala Aushadh Naste". No medicine can cure how one's nature is. The most dangerous change is the change in the way people behave. Close friends do not remain so close. Friends with whom you used to spend the most of your precious moments do not have enough time to drop a mail to you. Friends to whom you were precious suddenly change the way they behave. This can happen even we being on the other side. You can be the victim or cause. But before its too late, before we realise that such friend has become non existant we should change the changed behavior. Sometimes the change is unintentional. Sometimes it just happens without one's knowledge but to accept it needs a lot of courage. But if one decides to believe that 'Change is the only constant thing in life' it should not be so difficult. Just a few thoughts on change.

hey sonali
nice post!
if we continue your passage, and because we believe that "change is the only constant thing in life"... i think we can say this...
close friends go away, stop being in touch... and then gradually they feel that things have changed & they must change things again... and they will come close again... :)
today itself i read one testimonial on orkut. a friend wrote to his other friend: "we were good friends but we moved away with time. and after 2 years of no contact it was a yahoo offliner, and we hit it again!! now no matter how far we are, remain in touch & have become good friends once again"... :)
Hmm I agree..And sometimes, these things hurt so much!! Probably they happen, so that we learn not to do to others what someone did to us.
Thanks for sharing this... I found it great to read it to my high school students...
Changes are what make me move in life... you have to change to be alive... it is like to breath... there is no other part of air alike...
that is precisely why life is so interesting :)
so welcome change and adapt to it!
While change can at times bring pain with it, it could at other times be the carrier of happiness and joy! In any event, wouldn't life tend to be a bit dull and uninspiring without change? :)
